Gredos Ibex hunt | Ibexhuntspain.es

Jaroslav Kiska. January 2013 - Gredos Ibex

Dear Sir or Madam

I am writing with regarding to Valeriano Belle´s . In September 2011 I was hunting under Valeriano’s guidance in the Spanish mountains Gredos for Ibex Gredox. While achieving the highest possible standard of work, I saw many examples of his numerous talents and was impressed by his diligence and work ethic. I would like to take this opportunity to recommend Valeriano

During my time with him as my outfitter, Valeriano proved himself to have outstanding outfitter and hunter skills. He was able to successfully organize the whole trip for me as a hunter and my two sons as observers. He planned the trip to the smallest possible detail from finding a highly comfortable accommodation and taking us to special local restaurants to guiding me in the mountains to the best possible Ibex. This hunting trip was a major undertaking, requiring a great deal of thought and effort on Valeriano´s behalf.

Sincerely,
Ing. Jaroslav Kiska

GRAND SLAM SPANISH IBEX | HUNTING SPANISH IBEX WITH IBEXHUNTSPAIN.COM

GRAND SLAM SPANISH IBEX

The Spanish IBEX (Capra Pyrenaica) is a type of Ibex that had four subspecies, two are extinct and the other two still can only be found in Spain. Its actual population was estimated at 55.000 individuals and it continues to increase. It is the KING…

GREDOS IBEX

Description
Ibex fur in summer is quite short and dark-grey in colour, but in winter the fur is long with black marks on its back. The body of the Ibex is strong and robust. Both males and females have horns, but the female horns are smaller. Males horns are big, ringed, and have a wrinkle surface. The horns grow proportionately with age, adding one ring per year. They rise vertically and lean out and back in a scimitar form with the tips turning inward.

TORTOSA BECEITE IBEX

The Spanish Ibex lives in two separate herds, one is composed of females, kids, and young males while the other is composed of adult males. The male group only approaches the female group during the rutting season. It is at this time (December-January) that spectacular fights can be seen between adult males for group hierarchy. After six months of gestation, the Ibex females give birth to one kid.

RONDA IBEX

Although the CIC recognizes only two Ibex subspecies, there is no doubt we can offer four different head types for the hunter/collector.

SOUTH EAST IBEX

IBEXHUNTSPAIN offers the opportunity to hunt this Ibex Grand Slam in a single trip in the winter season.
